Maynard

A historic mill town in Middlesex County, 22 miles west of Boston on the Assabet River. Features a vibrant downtown with shops, restaurants, galleries, and a movie theater in the converted historic wool mill complex. Was headquarters for Digital Equipment Corporation (1957-1998). Home to part of the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge and connected to South Acton via the Assabet River Rail Trail. An arts-rich, diverse community with strong dining and entertainment options.
